Stoneware Crafting

✨Inviting you to try Stoneware Crafting! Event run by Universe, a member of Transformacija!
This is a trans-led event meant mainly for trans+ folk, but is absolutely open to allies of trans+ folk as well.
🎨Making something with your own hands is a wonderful creative experience that lets you turn a little part of your soul into something real that can be seen. And isn’t that beautiful, and just like being trans, too? During this event, you can make any sort of thing you like, a teacup for yourself or someone you love, some little creatures in shapes that make you happy. Stoneware is hard as a rock and sturdy, so it will be an idea that lasts, too. We have guides for more common things, but will try to help with your ideas, too. Stoneware is much easier to shape than porcelain, and much sturdier than porcelain or clay. Just know that anything with tightly fitting parts, or anything larger than a plate would take more time than the one event would allow.
📆When: 2nd November, 3-6PM
📍Where: MR Art Center, Marupe, Lambertu iela 26 (accessible by #7 and #55 bus)
💵Price: 20 Euro per person.
MR Art Center has to do additional processing, and fire it twice, hence the higher price compared to our porcelain events. However, this is still a great price that MR Art Center has given to our trans+ org in collaboration!

✨Ielūdzam jūs pamēģināt Akmensmasu! Pasākumu vada Universe, Transformācijas biedrene!
Šis ir transpersonu vadīts pasākums lielākoties paredzēts trans+ personām, bet trans+ sabiedrotie būs laipni sagaidīti, arī.
🎨Taisīt kaut ko ar savām rokām ir brīnišķīga kreatīva pieredze, kas ļauj daļu savas dvēseles pārvērst kaut kamī, ko var redzēt. Un vai tas nav skaisti, un līdzīgi būt trans? Šī pasākuma laikā jūs varat taisīt tējas krūzīti sev vai kādam sev mīļam, vai kādus jaukus zvēriņus, interesantās formās, kas liek tev jūsmināties. Akmensmasa ir cieta kā akmens un izturīga, tātad jūsu domas būs izturīgas un ilgstošas. Mums ir trafareti bieži taisītām lietām, kā traukiem un dažiem dzīvniekiem, bet mēs mēģināsim palīdzēt arī ar citām jūsu domām. Akmensmasu ir daudz vieglāk formēt nekā porcelānu, un tā ir daudz izturīgāka nekā porcelāns vai māls. Tikai turiet prātā, ka jebkas ar cieši saejošām detaļām, vai jebkas lielāks par šķīvi, aizņems vairāk laiku nekā šis viens pasākums atļauj.

📍Kur: MR Mākslas Centrs, Mārupe, Lambertu iela 26 (pieejams ar 7. un 55. autobusu).
💵Cena: 20 Euro par katru cilvēku.
MR Mākslas Centram būs papildus jāapstrādā darbs pēc pasākumu, un divreiz jāliek krāsnī. Tādēļ šim pasākumam ir augstāka cena nekā mūsu porcelāna pasākumiem. Bet, šī joprojām ir izcila cena, kuru MR Mākslas Centrs ir devis mūsu trans+ organizācijai sadarbībā!
